Story notes for "Light" by Resonant

I hate this story, but I won't bore you with a recitation of its many flaws. I still occasionally get comments on "that stained-glass story," which suggests that readers are able to overlook all the things that are wrong with it and enjoy the thing that first inspired it: the mental image of Jim in a wash of blue light.
It has been pointed out to me that I made some boneheaded errors about the stained-glass-making process. Boy, I hate it when I do that.
In addition to being my least favorite story, "Light" has the distinction of being the first one to break the hardcore barrier. I still think the sex is pretty good. And it has what I consider the most moving line I ever wrote (or at least the one that stirs my best-friend kink the best): "He knelt up over their clasped hands and kissed his friend's mouth."
Paulette did beta duty while she was deathly ill. Please don't blame her for stuff that's the fault of the clueless author.
