Note: Jack's medals vary slightly from picture to picture -- this is the set he was wearing in Fair Game. Prior to second season (Secrets), he didn't have the Air Medal. In first season (Children of the Gods), there are NO Vietnam medals, and he's wearing a Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon (with a bronze cluster) and an AF Training Ribbon. In my personal universe, this latter set makes far more sense. He's just too damn young to have served in Vietnam in early 1973, the last time the above Vietnam medals were awarded. (Besides, who could believe that Jack doesn't have a marksmanship ribbon?)
