Why you should watch this
*dies* This? Is fabulous. It's a trailer for "Teal'c, PI", a show I've wanted to see ever since Teal'c first mentioned it. Heeee.

The life and times of Daniel Jackson.
Why you should watch this
Oh, my god. Oh, Daniel. This is just so powerful, so perfect -- I feel like this song was written specifically for Daniel and this vid. It's utterly heartbreaking, but also hopeful. I just. *flails* Go watch this.

Never Die Young, by Barkley

Vidder's summary
People die. Jack doesn't.
Why you should watch this
Oh, Jack. Barkley once again manages to break my heart in the best way. God. This is a broader character study of Jack than his relationship with Daniel, but that's the center of the vid, as Jack grieves after Meridian and realizes that once again, he's still there while someone he loves has moved on. Just. God.

Oh, Jack. This one isn't so much heartbreaking as wonderfully light and breezy and fun, as Jack suffers through... everything. Hee!

Keep my things, they've come to take me home.
Why you should watch this
A lot of vids have been made about Daniel, and Daniel's journey to ascension, and this is one of my favorites. shalott made this right after the end of fifth season, when no one knew if Daniel would ever be back again, and this speaks to that, about how his life is a series of homecomings and moving on to new homes, new lives.

Skaara's journey, with all its tragedies and triumphs.
Why you should watch this
Skaara is one of my favorite recurring characters on Stargate, and this vid is what I would point to if anyone asked me what he was all about. This is wonderful, taking him from his youth in the movie through his final days on Abydos, with all the choices he makes (and the choices that are made for him). I love this vid.

You just kinda wasted my precious time.
Why you should watch this
This was made for the 2008 Vividcon Challenge show, the theme of which was "fuck you!" Barkley put her own inimitable spin on the theme with this one. God, when she's not breaking my heart, she's breaking my brain. But this is why I love her. Watch this, you won't regret it. (Oh, the humanity!)

Jack always ends up in the same place.
Why you should watch this
Oh, ouch. This isn't the relationship I want for Jack and Daniel, but it's one I can buy, even though it hurts. butterfly's Jack is very true to canon: he feels what he feels, but he doesn't cross the line he believes shouldn't be crossed, no matter how much it hurts him not to. (And no matter how much *I* want him to, dammit.)

Why you should watch this
This is a hard one for me to watch. It's about the sixth-season loss of Daniel, and I first watched it then, and watching it brings all of that back. But it's a gorgeous vid, starting with all the losses in Daniel's life, then moving on to his death and ascension, and his teammates left behind having to accept that and move on as best they can. It's beautifully done.

Why you should watch this
I was absolutely blown away the first time I saw this, thinking "yes, that's it! That's Jack/Daniel, that's SG-1!" I've been hoping for years that it would make it online at some point, and I'm incredibly happy I can finally point people at it. It's the early years of their relationship, when everything was just a little brighter.
